MARCH 2024: Tourism Noosa joined destinations from around Australia at some of the biggest events on the tourism calendar in Sydney.

CEO Sharon Raguse and Communications Manager Susan Ewington attended Tourism Australia’s Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) Forum and Destination Australia, while our Trades and Business Events Manager Vynka Hutton attended the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) Queensland Showcase.

The RTO Forum attracted more than 100 regional and local tourism organisations who heard Tourism Australia’s insights on how to partner with Indigenous culture, the importance of trade distribution platforms for international visitors; and sustainable tourism.

The Destination Australia conference had the theme: The next chapter for sustainable growth, and was a chance to come together with destinations and the tourism industry from around Australia to focus on the future.

At ATEC, Tourism Noosa member Tesla Transfers attended new product workshops - their first time at a trade event - to introduce their business to inbound tour operators and attract the international market.

Other members attending included Accor, Aqua Duck, Lady Elliot Island, Tasman Venture, Pinnacle Marketing for Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat and The Rise Noosa, and Kingfisher Bay Resort.
