NOOSA EAT & DRINK FESTIVAL RETURNS IN 2024!

MEDIA RELEASE: JUNE 2023

Noosa’s signature foodie festival, the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival is set to return in 2024. After a brief hiatus due to the effects of Covid, Tourism Noosa is delighted to announce the festival will return next year from Thursday 30 May to Sunday, 2 June 2024.

The popular festival will feature the usual much-loved events including a Long Lunch (in a surprise destination), beachfront events on Noosa's iconic Main Beach, a plethora of restaurant events in Noosa's famed restaurants and the return of the bustling Festival Village.

The event will also welcome back a fantastic line-up of Australia's favourite celebrity chefs who will be doing cooking demonstrations in the festival village, hosting lunches and dinners in Noosa’s restaurants and utilising the amazing produce grown in the Noosa region.

The festival provides the perfect opportunity to highlight Noosa’s thriving food and drink industry, showcasing local restaurants, breweries, distilleries and producers.

Tourism Noosa’s Acting CEO, Susan Ewington, said it was wonderful for the region to have the festival return in 2024, “We are so pleased to have the festival returning, in its full capacity, in 2024. The event has been a highlight on Noosa’s event calendar for more than 20 years and we look forward to welcoming festival visitors back to Noosa.”

Tourism Minister Stirling Hinchliffe welcomed the return of one of the Sunshine Coast's premier events.

"The Noosa Eat & Drink Festival is an absolute favourite on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar and it’s terrific that this iconic event is back in 2024, I’m sure even bigger and better than ever before," Mr Hinchliffe said.

“The four-day festival celebrates the best of our great Queensland lifestyle and highlights the incredible work our growers do in offering up their mouth-watering produce, particularly from the Noosa region.

“Events like this play an important role in our economy, injecting an estimated $3.3 million into the local community and supporting more than 12,000 bed nights.

Spread over three mouth-watering days, the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival promises to be a love affair of great food, drinks, live music and entertainment in one of Australia’s favourite foodie destinations. Additional information on the event program and ticket sales will be released in the coming weeks.
