1. See & Do

Noosa Regional Gallery

Immerse yourself in Noosa’s cultural life with a visit to the Noosa Regional Gallery, the region’s major public arts space. National and international artists and touring exhibitions, along with Noosa’s own creatives exhibit their diverse art forms in a changing roster of curated exhibitions.

The gallery’s riverside location and leafy surrounds add a sense of serenity as you stroll the winding waterfront path to the entrance. Inside, walk through open rooms that house different exhibitions by painters, sculptors, photographers and more.

Contemporary themes, often reflecting Noosa's natural environment are explored in the exhibitions. A public program of artist talks, workshops, performances and masterclasses for all ages accompanies each exhibition. The Noosa Regional Gallery also hosts a popular and diverse workshop program for children during each school holiday period.

Noosa's acclaimed biannual green art event, Floating Land, is a stunning project run by the Noosa Regional Gallery, featuring sculptural installations across a range of natural sites.

Take home a piece of Noosa’s culture when you visit the Noosa Regional Gallery’s retail shop. You’ll find unique artisan products including homewares, jewellery, accessories, books, artworks and gift cards., all handmade by local and interstate designers and artists.

Catch the Noosa Ferry from Hastings Street or stops along the Noosa River and hop off at the Noosa Marina, just a short stroll from the Noosa Regional Gallery. It’s also just a short walk from Tewantin’s main shopping area.
