Trees for Tourism - Tree Planting

Plant a tree! Join a biannual tree planting event and help protect and rejuvenate vulnerable bushland areas of Noosa's diverse natural landscape.

Each native tree planted is chosen to provide shade for walkers along the Noosa Biosphere Trail, assist with erosion mitigation and create a natural lush protective habitat for over 3,000 wildlife species including local koalas and 700 other species native to Noosa.

Trees for Tourism isn't an official carbon-offset program however, since partnering with Noosa and District Landcare in 2019, the program has planted over 5,000 native trees!
