Read our guide to the best ways to look after yourself and the planet in Noosa!

1. Noosa National Park

One of Australia's most visited National Parks, the Noosa National Park is a local treasure, a green expanse of over 3000 hectares that links the villages of Noosa Heads and Sunshine Beach. With walking trails intertwining across the full reach of the park, and scenic coastal tracks hugging the rocky coastline and hidden coves and bays, it is the perfect destination for hiking, surfing, beaching, and up-close wildlife encounters in Noosa.

2. Pottery for the Planet

The largest working pottery studio in Queensland, Pottery for the Planet produce an array of incredible hand-crafted ceramics in colourful, muted hues that reflect the Australian environment, from their bustling outpost in the Noosaville Industrial Estate. These guys are serious about sustainability and are doing their bit to promote reusable culture in Australia - the brand’s reusable ceramic coffee cups and travel bowls have become cult favourites, and you’ll find their wares in the ‘mug libraries’ at many local cafes. They also produce a selection of refined hand-made dinner and serving ware, teapots and vases in earthy tones; the perfect take-home from your Noosa holiday.

3. Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort

Retreat to Noosa Springs, a sprawling, country-club style establishment in the centre of Noosa Heads, for the ultimate self-care getaway. Here, you can indulge in lazy mornings beside the resort pool, long days on the golf course, afternoons playing tennis in the country club, and pampering sessions in the onsite spa, with locally inspired treatments and hydrotherapy pool. You’ll barely need to leave the premises during your stay, with excellent on-site dining and bar options including the modern-Australian Relish Restaurant, and the nearby ALBA by Kuruvita, an impressive multi-venue establishment that encompasses a cocktail bar, café, providore, pizzeria, restaurant and cooking school, all reachable in your golf buggy.

4. Surfing

An original surf town from way back, Noosa is the 10th designated World Surfing Reserve, which means the iconic surf breaks that surfers have been flocking to for decades will be protected for future generations to enjoy. Catching a wave in the Noosa World Surfing Reserve is a bucket-list worthy experience, with iconic long point breaks dotted around the beaches and the National Park Bays, and open surf breaks stretching the full length of the coast from Sunshine Beach, all the way south to Peregian Beach.

5. Stephanies Ocean Spa
