1. Get cultured and discover Noosa’s Art Scene

Discover the ever changing local and touring exhibitions and get inspired at Noosa’s public art space, the Noosa Regional Gallery on the riverfront at Tewantin, and at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre. 2. Unleash your inner Picasso as you Sip n Paint

Create your own art at the luxury Frida’s Sip n Paint studio located in the heart of the Noosa Junction. Enjoy a fun night out with friends as you sip your favourite drinks and paint a masterpiece with step-by-step guides from professionally trained artists! On weekends and during school holidays, family-friendly sessions welcome kids and adults, for interactive, artist-led painting sessions.

3. Wine & dine your way through Noosa

4. Watch the rain roll in from the Noosa River

While rain can disrupt your holiday plans, it can also be quite beautiful! Relax and unwind as you watch the raindrops hit the water while cruising the Noosa River on the iconic Noosa Ferry. If the weather clears, hop on and off at one of the six riverside stops, on the journey from the Sofitel Jetty at Hastings St, all the way to the Noosa Marina at Tewantin.

5. Get amongst the arts and enjoy the theatre

Noosa is filled with so much incredible local talent. Discover fantastic arts, theatre, live music, and entertainment at the J Noosa, the Majestic Theatre Pomona, or the Noosa Arts Theatre. There will be something for the whole family to enjoy!

6. Embrace the rain

If you can’t beat it, join it! Head to the Noosa Aquatic Centre and jump on into the all-weather paddle pool - it’s undercover so you can still enjoy a swim without the rain! The Centre is filled with different pools suitable for children and adults, with a shaded and heated toddler pool, inflatables (during holiday periods), tipping buckets, and an onsite cafe. 7. Take a drive to the Ginger Factory

Located just a short drive from Noosa, the Ginger Factory is a mostly under-cover space with a retail precinct, cafe, kids' activities and exhibitions, playgrounds, small rides, and a kid-friendly little train that loops around the rainforest surrounding the property. Their interactive Gruffalo Trail will delight younger children, as they journey through the rainforest in search of Mouse, Fox, Owl, Snake and the Gruffalo via the augmented reality app.

8. Journey into the hinterland

There's nothing like a rainy-day drive to the hinterland, where you can grab your raincoat and take a hike in the forestry, or spend the day cosying up in one of the exceptional hinterland pubs, breweries, or distilleries. 9. The Noosa Library and Leisure Centre

Adults can browse and borrow books, audiobooks, magazines and more from the recently-updated space. Next door, the indoor Noosa Leisure Centre complex has basketball courts and other sporty offerings, a creche and a jump room, and a fantastic padded-play space that will delight kids under five.
